What happens between yes and launch
After you accept a quote, the work moves through four steps.
- Onboarding: the partner sends a short list of what they need, such as brand assets, offers, areas served and who answers inquiries.
- Access: you invite the partner to your accounts with the user roles each platform provides.
- Build and approval: campaigns, ads, landing pages and tracking are built, and you sign them off.
- Launch and check: ads go live, test inquiries confirm tracking works, and spend is watched closely at first.
Scoping checklist
Having these ready makes the first conversation shorter and the quote more accurate.
- What you sell, and which products or services you want to advertise first
- The areas you serve or ship to
- Your monthly ad budget, or a range you are comfortable with
- A list of ad accounts you already own on Google, Microsoft, Meta or LinkedIn
- Who has admin access to GA4, Google Tag Manager and your website
- The CRM or inbox where inquiries should land
- Who answers new inquiries, and how quickly they usually do
- How often you want reports, and who should receive them
Offboarding, done cleanly
Plan the exit at the start. Ask the partner to agree in writing that, when the work ends:
- you remove their user access from each ad, analytics and tag account;
- campaigns, audiences, conversion actions and history stay in your accounts;
- landing pages and their source files stay with you or are handed over;
- any tools they pay for, such as call tracking or a page builder, are listed so you can replace them;
- a short handover note explains how everything is set up.
Because the accounts were yours from the start, very little has to move.
Ending the arrangement
Arrangements end for ordinary reasons: a season finishes, budgets change, or you bring the work in-house. Check the notice period in your agreement and give it in writing. Before the partner leaves, ask for a handover note covering campaign structure, conversion actions, tags and any tools on their account. Then remove their user access from your ad, analytics and tag accounts. Campaigns and data stay where they are, so whoever takes over next starts from the same history. If campaigns should keep running in the meantime, agree who watches spend until the handover is done.
Tell us what you sell and which channels you want to run. A service partner will reply with a scope and a quote.
